In the 2011 joint summer field course, it is great honor to meet Professor Izawa in Iriomotejima. It is an unforgettable time.
Joined with Dr. Liu to collect thermophilic red algae in Mt. Yang-Ming. In this journey, we have visited several places where few people visited. The view is fascinating!
Mr. Soony Lee from University of Auckland visited us April 20-27. Sonny is studying at the correlation among water flow, microbes and coral stresses for his Ph.D. study.

Research Fellow of the University of Melbourne, Dr. Isaam Saeed (the right one in the photo), visited us. Dr. Saeed is an bioinformatician and develops a robust binning method for sorting metagenomic contigs. We will continue collaboration in bioinfomratic tools of metagenomics.
